Stuffed Lavash with Tushenka

Crispy lavash with a juicy meat filling

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Gold Tushenka pork (500g)
  • 2 sheets thin lavash
  • 150g suluguni (or mozzarella)
  • 2 eggs
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro, dill)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mash Gold Tushenka pork with a fork, mix with grated cheese and chopped herbs.
  2. Beat eggs and add to the filling, stir well.
  3. Spread filling thinly over lavash. Roll into a log or fold into an envelope.
  4. Fry in oil 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Cut into portions and serve hot.
Tips

For a crispier crust, brush lavash with egg before frying. Any melting cheese can replace suluguni. Serve with tkemali sauce or sour cream.
