Shkmeruli with Tushenka

Tender chicken in creamy garlic-milk sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Gold Tushenka chicken (500g)
  • 200 ml milk (or 20% cream)
  • 1 head of garlic (8-10 cloves)
  • 30g butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of ground coriander

Instructions

  1. Add Gold Tushenka chicken to a skillet and fry for 5 minutes until golden.
  2. Finely mince or press the garlic.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the meat, fry 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in milk, add coriander, and stir. Simmer on low heat 15 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, serve in a deep plate with plenty of sauce.
Tips

For a richer sauce, use cream instead of milk. Don't skimp on garlic — it's the star of this dish. Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the sauce.
